Can I Grow a Lemon Tree from a Store Bought Lemon?

Lemons can generally be grown from any seed that is damage-free and in good condition. Avoid seeds that have dried since they are not as tolerant to drying as other common seeds.

    • According to Marion Owen, writing in the PlanTea website, lemons naturally grow best in areas that with an average temperature of 54 to 70 degrees. Although they are considered an evergreen tree, the lemon trees will go into dormancy when temperatures dip below 54 degrees at night.
