Organic strawberry seeds, once grown to an adult plant, produce juicy red fruit from summer to late fall.
A wider group of organic vegetable seeds can be found for all-natural gardeners. Organic tomato seeds are on hand in a huge variety of exotic species such as Black Krim, Carmello and Green Zebra. Both underground organic vegetable seeds like beets, radishes and rutabagas as well as above ground organic seeds including corn, sweet peppers and snow peas are commonly offered for sale.
Organically grown plants are not sprayed by any pesticides, fungicides or other toxic chemicals used by farmers to protect their plants from harmful insects and fungus. Inorganically grown food may contain trace amounts of these harmful chemicals. All organic seeds are harvested from parent plants that are chemical free so that the germinating plants will also grow organically. Fruits and vegetables grown organically are healthier for human consumption and they spare the Earth's soil and water the effects of noxious chemicals in the environment.
