How to Assemble My Hammock Frame

Hammock frames, commonly referred to as stands, save you time and work versus hanging a stand with an eyebolt on a wood beam or tree limb. They're also considered safer because a wrongly secured hammock can cause injuries. Use a metal hammock frame for a lightweight option that you can move as needed. You can assemble most frames easily without the use of any tools. Every frame's assembly instructions vary, but most follow a few similar basic steps.

  Set the foot brackets on the ground parallel to each other and slide the end caps on both bracket ends.

  Place one of the poles between the two foot brackets. Insert the connectors located on top of the foot brackets into the holes on each end of the pole. Push down on the springs on the connectors while pushing the pole until the springs pop through the holes on the pole and lock.

  Place the end caps on the other two poles.

  Place the two pole holes on the top of each connector on the foot bracket. Push down on the springs located on the connectors while pushing the pole until the springs pop through the holes on the pole and lock.
