10 X 20 Canopy Six Leg Assembly Instructions

A 10-foot-wide and 20-foot-long canopy provides protection from the elements, especially when large groups of people gather for special occasions. Setting up a canopy of this size requires two persons working in tandem.

Instructions

    • 1

Pick the canopy frame up and stand it up on the ground. Set the canopy cover on the ground unfolded and next to the frame.

    • 2

Grasp one end of the frame with a hand on each side. Have a second person perform the same task with the other end of the frame.

    • 3

Walk backward from each other to extend the frame partially to about 10 feet. You and your helper should be about 10 feet apart, or half the length of the canopy.

    • 4

Pick the canopy cover up off the ground and place it over the frame. Pull the cover evenly over the top.

    • 5

Wrap each corner strap (of Velcro) on the cover around each of the four outer corners of the frame. This will hold the cover in place. It will appear lumpy until the frame is in position.

    • 6

Walk backward from each other to extend the frame fully. Grasp and lift the two outer legs on your respective sides of the canopy. Place the legs on the end of the frame. Lift the side trusses as they unfold while continuing to walk backward.

    • 7

Walk around the perimeter of the canopy and push all horizontal bars into place. An audible click signifies when each bar is in the appropriate place.

    • 8

Grasp the frame with one hand and push the slider bars into position. They will lock into place to steady the frame.

    • 9

Lift each of the six legs one at a time, so the inner leg slides out and increases the canopy height. The inner and outer legs will snap together with a pin to hold it in place.

    • 10

Slide the U clips on the inside of the canopy on the top horizontal bars of the frame to hold the canopy.
