Instructions

  1. Preparation

    • 1

Plan out the area where you will install your greenhouse.

    • 2

Mark out your chosen area and measure across both diagonals to make sure all four sides are square and parallel.

    • 3

Gather your tools and parts, keeping them organized for easy access. Make sure you have everything you need before you begin for a smooth construction process.

    • 4

Drive a 30-inch PVC stake straight into the ground every 36 inches along both of the long sides.

    Hoop Construction

    • 5

Slide a 10-foot length of 3/4-inch PVC pipe over each of your stakes. The fit should be relatively snug.

    • 6

Connect the two coordinating PVC lengths in the very front of the structure using a 3-way PVC connector to create a hoop. Use the rubber mallet to create a snug connection. Use PVC glue if desired.

    • 7

Repeat the process for the set of coordinating PVC lengths in the back of the structure, creating the back hoop.

    • 8

Connect each remaining pair of coordinating PVC lengths using a 4-way PVC connector. As with the others, create a snug connection using your rubber mallet and use PVC glue if desired.

    • 9

Create a ridgeline between the hoops by fitting 34-inch lengths of 3/4-inch PVC pipe into the 3-way and 4-way connectors in each PVC hoop.

    Covering

    • 10

Cut a slit along the length of each 8-inch length of 1-inch poly pipe to make plastic clips.

    • 11

Cover the greenhouse with the plastic sheet.

    • 12

Secure the plastic sheet to the PVC pipe frame using the poly pipe clips. An alternative option is to replace plastic poly pipe clips with large binder clips if desired.
