How to Make a Folding Screen for Pics

Pictures aren't just for viewing on your camera or on your computer screen. You can also print them to put in an album or to display. One of the methods for display is a folding screen. You can paste or tape pics to a folding screen, and the screen will stand up on its own. You can then use the screen to display your pictures for as long as you'd like. The point of a screen is to have a display that stands up, so it doesn't matter from which material the screen is made.

Instructions

    • 1

Choose three pieces of cardboard or thick screen material. You can use any type of material, such as poster board, cardboard, window screens (that have a frame which allows them to stand up), wood, or metal -- as long as the material is thick, and not flimsy like paper.

    • 2

Lay all three pieces of material on a flat table.

    • 3

Measure the length of the screen and divide the number by three. Use the pencil to make a mark on the edges of the screens that will touch each other to divide it into thirds. If the screen pieces are three feet tall, make a mark at the one-foot and two-foot level.

    • 4

Screw the hinges into the screens at the one-third mark. Connect the three pieces of screens with the hinges.

    • 5

Stand the screen up. Bend the pieces of the screen so it will stand up by itself.

    • 6

Attach photos to the screen using tape. Stand the screen up with the photos attached to display your photos.
