How to Light a Weber Gas Grill

The name "Weber" is synonymous with outdoor grilling for many people. The original Weber grill was a spherical charcoal kettle grill built from a Great Lakes buoy, but the Weber-Stephen Products Co. now has a full line of gas grills, too. After choosing a Weber gas grill, take the time to read the owner's manual thoroughly to ensure you understand the safety precautions and operating methods. Then grab the burgers and hot dogs and light your Weber gas grill.

Check each burner control knob to make sure they are all off.

Turn the liquid propane tank valve counterclockwise one complete turn to open the gas.
