Remove all components of the canopy from the box and lay them out over the outdoor area where you intend to set up the canopy. Among the components should be rafter poles, leg poles, cross poles, frame connectors, canopy cover, and a variety of pins, anchors and cords.
Locate the rafter poles. These poles have swedged ends and three pin holes at each end.
Slide the rafter poles into the connectors and make sure the holes in the connectors line up with the holes in the poles. Insert pins in the holes to secure them. You will now have the ceiling frame of the unit.
Take the nine cross poles (the ones without swedged ends) and connect them to the remaining ends of the connectors. This completes the spine of the ceiling frame.
Take the canopy cover and place it over the ceiling frame, making sure the top of the cover is facing up.
Insert the eight legs into the connector holes along the side of the ceiling frame. Make sure the side of the cover is resting over the support bars.
Insert the loop end of the ball cord into one of the holes at the base of the cover. Wrap the loop around the support pole and then place the loop over the ball to secure it. Repeat the step with the remaining holes in the cover. This will secure the cover to the canopy frame.
Twist the leg poles so that the cover becomes even more taut and secure around the frame. Place the bottom of the legs into the base feet plates and insert the pins into the holes in the base plate to secure the legs to the plate.
Insert the anchors into the holes in the bottom of the base feet plates and push them into the soil. This will secure the canopy.
