How to Install Canopy Lifters

If you are planning an outdoor event, it might be a good idea to set up a canopy to protect guests from sun or rain. These canopies are made of a canvas top with various metal components that make up the frame. Four of these components are the legs, or “lifters.” Once the frame is setup on the canopy, the last thing to do is insert and set the canopy legs.

Instructions

    • 1

Tilt the frame of the canopy to the side.

    • 2

Locate your four leg poles. These poles have holed-metal feet at one end.

    • 3

Insert the non-foot end of one of the poles into the bottom socket at one of the corner connectors on the frame.

    • 4

Align the holes in the leg with the holes in the connector.

    • 5

Insert one of the included metal pins in the hole to secure the leg to the connector.

    • 6

Repeat the process with the remaining three legs.

    • 7

Stand the canopy up and insert the included spike through the holes on the feet, and into the ground, to secure the canopy itself.
