How to Fix a Leaky Ceramic Bird Feeder

Cracks in a ceramic bird feeder usually do not reduce the functionality, if the feeder exclusive holds bird food. If there is a section or compartment that holds water for the birds to drink or bathe in, the crack may cause leaking. In that case, you can seal the crack with silicone caulk. Silicone caulk is waterproof and flexible, so it will stop a leak and allow the ceramic to expand and contract with changes in temperatures.
