Orange Annual Flowers

Annuals are flowers that only grow for a single season before dying out. Several different types of annual flowers come in different shades of oranges, so it is not difficult to create a garden full of vibrant orange flowers.
  1. Strawflower

    • An orange strawflower is a bright flower that can grow up to 4 feet tall. Strawflowers come in many different colors, so buy the seeds that will yield orange flowers.

    Orange Zinnia

    • Orange zinnias are striking flowers that bloom from midsummer to the first frost of the year. This flower can grow to be 3 feet tall.

    Marigolds

    • Marigolds are smaller flowers, usually topping out around 1 foot. Marigolds are similar in appearance to daisies, with colors ranging from creamy yellows to deep oranges.

    Orange Gerbera Daisy

    • Another smaller flower, the orange gerbera daisy is a relatively easy plant to grow. Orange gerbera daisies prefer full sun, but they also grow well in light shade.

    Orange Dahlia

    • Orange Dahlia flowers can grow to be 5 feet tall, so they are ideal if you are looking for a large orange annual flower. In most conditions, orange dahlias are annual flowers, but in certain areas (zones nine and 10) they act as perennials.
