Instructions

    • 1

Select your edging material. Some examples are stones, bricks and metal scrolled edging.

    • 2

Lay flat stones or rocks one in front of the other around the perimeter of the garden. No digging or internal placement in the soil is required.

    • 3

Dig a shallow trench with a trowel if you lay bricks. Bricks should sit in the soil so they are flush with the garden bed.

    • 4

Push metal scrolled edging gently into the soil. Metal scrolled edging has the look of a miniature gate. All you have to do is push the pieces into the soil, one after the other. The edging sometimes has spikes on the end that makes it easy to push into the soil.
