How to Get Rid of a Mole With Betadine

A mole is a growth on the skin that often appears brown, tan, gray or blue. Moles can appear anywhere on the body but are most prominent on the face, back, arms and legs. Mole growth and development is often linked to genetics and sun exposure. Moles should be checked and diagnosed by a doctor or dermatologist to determine if they are cancerous. The procedure to remove a mole includes cleansing the mole area, cutting the mole out and cleaning the wound. Betadine is a topical antiseptic liquid that kills germs and is often used in the procedure.
