Butterfly Bush Color

Gardeners enjoy butterfly bushes because of their low maintenance and sweet honey fragrant blooms that attract many species of butterflies and hummingbirds. The tubelike flower is filled with nectar that the butterflies and hummingbirds feed on. Throughout the summer, spent flowers should be removed to encourage new growth. Most butterfly bushes range in color from very dark purple to pink and pure white. Butterfly bushes can grow 6 to 15 feet tall.
