Bloom Booster plant food contains phosphorous, which plants need to produce flowers on a regular basis. Both roots and leaves absorb this product, giving it dual feeding power. You can use this product to feed flowering plants in container gardens and established in-ground plants without worrying about the formula leaving chemical burns on leaves or adjacent plants. Bloom Booster begins working immediately, and you should notice results within a few days.
You can use either a standard watering can or the Miracle-Gro Garden Feeder to distribute the Bloom Booster plant food formula. If you're using a watering can, the standard dilution is 1 tbsp. of Bloom Buster plant food for every gallon of water you use. If you're using the Miracle-Gro Liquid Garden Feeder, Scotts recommends using one liquid refill bottle, which will feed 6 feet worth of foliage.
Indoor feeding requires a lower concentrated feeding solution. When using a watering can, use 1 tsp. of Bloom Buster formula for every gallon of water used. The Scotts Miracle-Gro company claims that the Bloom Buster water-soluble formula has minimal health risk for both humans and animals.
The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company recommends using this product every one to two weeks as soon as the growing season begins in your region. You can also use Bloom Booster plant food each time you water if you use a more diluted formula consisting of ¼ tsp. of Bloom Buster for every gallon of water you use.
The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company also makes a continuous-feeding Bloom Booster formula. Scotts recommends that you apply this product every three months, using 1 tbsp. for every square foot of soil where flowering plants grow, then watering so the soil can absorb the formula. You should not use this product to feed indoor plants or flowering plants in container gardens, according to the Scotts Miracle-Gro Company.
