Use the four 36-inch pieces as the legs for the table. Twelve inches up each of the 36-inch pieces, prime an area 1 inch wide and apply glue. Slide the side outlets up each of the 36-inch pieces where the primer and glue are located and secure each fitting, making sure the fittings are the same distance from the end on each 36-inch piece. This will form the bottom of the table and will provide a shelf. Let dry.
On the opposite end of each of the 36-inch pieces, or the top of the table, prime and apply glue to an area 6 inches down from the end of each 36-inch piece. Slide the remaining four side outlets down to the primed and glued area, lining them up with the side outlets on the bottom of each 36-inch piece. Secure and let dry.
Prime and apply glue to the top 1 inch around the outside of the ends of two of the 48-inch pieces. Attach two of the 36-inch pieces to each end of the 48-inch pieces, using the side outlets. This will form the front of the table. Let dry.
Prime and apply glue to the top 1 inch around the outside of both ends of the remaining 48-inch pieces. Attach the remaining two 36-inch pieces to each end of the 48-inch pieces, using the side outlets. This will form the back of the table. Let dry.
Prime and apply glue to the top 1 inch of each end of both of the 24-inch pieces. Fit the 24-inch pieces into the remaining openings of the side outlets, forming the sides of the table.
To provide a surface for the table, use plastic trays or lay a sheet of plastic over the top.
For the bottom shelf, use plastic trays or lay a sheet of plastic over the sides.
Prime and apply glue to the inside edge of each cap and attach to each end of the 36-inch pieces. Caps will prevent grime and dirt from getting inside the legs of the table, and putting caps on the bottom of the legs will help prevent the table from sinking if you need to set it on the ground.
