Wipe down the table with spray wood cleaner and a cleaning rag to remove any other dirt and grime from the table, making the silver stains easier to spot and treat.
Iron the stains. Place a clean white cotton towel over the stain, and heat the iron to high. Fill the water reservoir before you start. Place the iron on top of the cloth and start ironing, making liberal use of the "steam" function. Run the iron over the cloth about 10 times.
Lift the cloth. If the silver stains are gone, you are finished. If not, proceed to step 4. Likely the stains will be lighter even if they have not disappeared completely.
Rub down the table with lemon juice and baking powder. Make a paste using the two ingredients by sprinkling first the baking powder and then the lemon juice on the table. Start with 2 tbsp. of baking powder and 2 tsp. of lemon juice. Scrub the silver stains with a cleaning rag to help remove them without damaging the finish of the table. This is particularly effective if the source of the stains was a hot food box, like a pizza box, since sometimes grease residue compounds the problem and is hard to remove.
Wipe down the table with the spray wood cleaner to remove all residue from the stain removal process and leave your pine furniture bright, shiny and stain-free.
