Instructions

  1. For Water Ring Marks

    • 1

Plug in the iron and turn the heat setting to medium-low--use medium if your iron doesn't have the medium-low setting.

    • 2

Wipe the surface of the table with a clean dustcloth.

    • 3

Place the dishtowel or T-shirt over the mark on the table surface.

    • 4

Run the heated iron over the cloth in the area where the marks are for no more than 3 or 4 seconds.

    • 5

Remove the cloth from the table.

    For Ink and Heat Marks

    • 6

Wipe the surface of the table with a clean dustcloth.

    • 7

Mix a small amount of toothpaste with some of the baking soda to make a paste.

    • 8

Rub the paste over the heat mark with your fingers in a circular motion. The paste will begin to feel warm.

    • 9

Wipe the area clean with a damp cloth.
