Instructions

  1. Iron Method

    • 1

Place a thick towel over the water stains.

    • 2

Set your iron to a low to medium heat setting.

    • 3

Place the hot iron on the cloth for about six or seven seconds.

    • 4

Lift the cloth to see if the stain is coming up. If not, replace the iron and hold it for another six or seven seconds.

    • 5

Check the wood tabletop to see if the stain is gone. The heat gently releases the moisture from the wood. Repeat the method until the stain is removed.

    • 6

Polish and buff your tabletop in your normal fashion.

    Vinegar Method

    • 7

Mix 1-part white distilled vinegar and 1-part olive oil together in a small bowl.

    • 8

Pour a teaspoon of the mixture onto the water stain.

    • 9

Rub the mixture into the water stain with a soft cleaning cloth and a circular motion. Continue rubbing until the water stain is gone.

    • 10

Wipe the residue off with a clean, dry cloth. Polish your furniture as normal.
