Instructions

    • 1

Lay the furniture pad over the top of the table to protect it during the process. Place the hooks at each end of your tie-down strap on either side of the table and ratchet the strap tight around the covered table.

    • 2

Thread a heavy zip tie through the frame of pulley No. 1. Slide the zip tie under the tie-down strap. Slip the pointed end of the zip tie into the hole in the receiving end. Pull the pointed end of the zip tie to fasten the pulley to the strap.

    • 3

Run a stud finder along the ceiling over the table. Twist an eye bolt into the ceiling where the stud finder tells you there is a joist. Snug the eye bolt as tight as possible with your pliers.

    • 4

Use a heavy zip tie to attach the frame of pulley No. 2 to the eye bolt in the ceiling. Pull the zip tie tight to ensure the safety of yourself and the table.

Thread the end of your rope through the wheel of pulley No. 2 in the ceiling. Pull the rope down and thread it through the wheel of pulley No. 1 on the table. Tie the end of the rope to the frame of pulley No. 2 in the ceiling to complete the lifting device.

Pull the free end of the rope slowly to lift the table. Raise the table as high as is necessary and lower it slowly to the ground when the lift is complete.
