Instructions

    • 1

Build a 4-foot square box from the 2-by-4's. Use the 3-inch wood screws and the electric screwdriver to attach the 2-by-4's end on end to one another. This is the box support for the table.

    • 2

Position a 3-foot long steel stud to stand vertically in each corner of the square box. Attach the steel studs to the wood box by driving the 2 ¼-inch sheet metal screws first through the steel studs and then into the 2-by-4 box with the electric screwdriver. These form the four legs of the table.

    • 3

Flip the table's box support over so the box support is standing on the four legs. Lay the plywood sheet onto the top of the box support.

    • 4

Attach the plywood sheet to the box support using the electronic screwdriver to drive the 1 ½-inch wood screws into the 2-by-4's of the table's box support. This attaches the table top to the table.

    • 5

Put on the painter's mask, then put coarse sandpaper on the electric sander. Use the sander to round off the corners and edges of the table top. Once this is done, replace the coarse sandpaper on the sander with fine sandpaper. Use the sander with the fine sandpaper to smooth out the corners and edges of the table top.
