Instructions

    • 1

Remove the broken metal table leg from the table. Then, use a ½-inch metal file to smooth out any rough edges on the broken leg.

    • 2

Knead the one-part epoxy putty in your hands until it begins to feel warm to the touch. Make sure to completely mix the putty until it is one consistent color.

    • 3

Set the broken pieces of the table leg next to one another. Then use the epoxy putty to attach the two pieces back together, thus fixing the leg and making it one piece again. Smooth the putty, and allow it to harden for about three hours before sanding the table leg.

    • 4

Use the sandpaper to sand the epoxy putty repair to a smooth finish.

    • 5

Use the silver enamel paint and paint brush to paint over the repaired area, blending in the epoxy patch with the original parts of the leg. Allow two hours for the paint to dry. Then, reattach the leg to the table.
