A square table topper adds the finishing touch to a round accent table. It looks best over a table with a floor-length cloth. Make the topper from rich fabrics for a formal room or cotton fabrics for a casual room. Because a table topper is a flat piece of fabric, stripes and plaids work well. Use a print topper over a solid under-cloth or a solid color over a print under-cloth.
