Instructions

    • 1

Open the windows in the room to improve ventilation. Put on rubber gloves and clean the tile-topped table thoroughly with equal parts ammonia and distilled water, scrubbing it with a scrub brush. You may use regular tap water but distilled water is free of any impurities and will not leave a residue.

    • 2

Rinse the tile-topped table with distilled water, taking up all the ammonia. Dry with a clean sponge to absorb the water.

    • 3

Sand the table using fine-grit sandpaper to rough the surface and rid any deeper dirt and grime. Then wipe it down with a tack cloth.

    • 4

Apply a coat of tile primer/sealer using a foam hand-roller. Let it dry for three to four hours, or as long as suggested by the manufacturer.

    • 5

Buff the tile-topped table with a microfiber cloth several times after the sealer has sufficiently dried.
