How to Locate the Reset Button for a Coleman Spa

A Coleman spa can be a relaxing addition to your home or backyard. According to the Coleman spa owner's guide, you should test the ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) breaker when you first install the spa and again periodically in the future. When the instructions in the owner's manual tell you to press the "Reset" button, they are not referring to such a button on the spa. The spa itself does not have a "Reset" button. Rather, the instructions refer to the "Reset" button on the GFCI outlet.

     Locate the power cord that comes from the spa.

     Follow the cord to the GFCI wall outlet into which it is plugged.

     Find the lower of the two buttons located in the middle of the GFCI outlet. This button sometimes is black. You have now located the "Reset" button.
