Instructions

    • 1

Sweep cobwebs, dirt and other debris from the furniture with a broom. Use a broom to loosen and sweep away as much debris as possible. Work the bristles of the broom into the crevices of the wicker.

    • 2

Connect a brush attachment to the hose of a vacuum cleaner. Vacuum between the woven wicker and in hard to reach areas of the wicker furniture to remove accumulated dust and pollen.

    • 3

Mix a solution of water and mild detergent. Dip a rag into the solution and wipe down the wicker furniture. Pay special attention to areas of stubborn dirt or stains. Wipe the wicker with a clean rag dipped in only water to rinse.

    • 4

Place the wicker furniture in a warm and sunny location to thoroughly dry after wiping down and rinsing. Allow the furniture to completely dry to avoid formation of mold or mildew.

    • 5

Cover wicker furniture with outdoor furniture covers or a tarp, if necessary, to help reduce the accumulation of dirt, dust, pollen and debris.
