Ottoman Slipcover Instructions

Ottoman covers come in a variety of colors, materials and designs for every taste. Some may have ruffled edges at the bottom or decorative seams. Whatever your style living room, tie an ottoman slipcover into your decor. Purchasing the slipcover also allows you to update your furniture collection or cover damaged ottomans inexpensively. Most slipcovers are also washable, making it easy to respond to accidental stains and spills.

Instructions

  1. Covering the Ottoman

      Place the slipcover in the dryer for 15 to 20 minutes to release the wrinkles and creases.

      Place the slipcover over the ottoman, lining seams up with the corners of the ottoman. Pull the cover taut over the ottoman for a good fit.

    • 3

      Smooth the cover with your hand, continuing to pull the cover taut over the ottoman. Examine the ottoman once finished to ensure the seams are still lined up properly.
