How to Get Scotch Tape Marks Off Wood

Scotch tape may be a quick and easy adhesive, but when it's time to remove the tape, you may have trouble getting off all the adhesive. If used on wood, the adhesive residue will attract dirt and leave an unsightly scar. You need to remove the tape marks without damaging the wood.

Apply soap and warm water to a sponge, and use it to scrub off the adhesive and water displacing spray. Dry the area with a clean towel.
