How to Disassemble a Black Tubular Futon

A futon is a modular sofa that folds down into a bed. You place the sofa padding on top of the back and bottom frame panels to create the sleeping area. Frames are available in wood or metal; metal frames are usually less expensive and less durable than wood models. Tubular metal futon frames are easy to disassemble. All that you need is an appropriately sized hex key, which usually comes with the frame kit.
