How to Fix a Hole in an Aerobed Mattress

Aerobed is a company that manufactures tough, electric-powered air mattresses. These mattresses inflate quickly when plugged in. They come in handy whenever a surprise guest or two pops in. Even though the material the mattress is made of is sturdy it is still vulnerable to punctures. A patch kit can easily repair a punctured mattress.

Vinyl patch kit (if needed)

  Lay the Aerobed out on the floor and locate the hole in the mattress.

  Lay out the contents of the patch kit that came with your Aerobed. There should be some vinyl patches and hobby glue. If you no longer have the patch kit, you can purchase a vinyl patch kit from a hobby or hardware store.

  Clean the area around the hole with a damp cloth and dry it thoroughly.

  Apply glue in a line around the outside edges of one side of the vinyl patch.

  Place the vinyl patch over the hole and press firmly down at the sides of the patch.

  Place a heavy object, such as a book or a brick over the patch and let it sit overnight. The patch should then be secure over the hole.
