Re-Purposing Furniture to Make Bathroom Furniture

Use a chest, table, or other piece of furniture for an attractive and useful bathroom vanity. Re-purposing furniture for vanities has become so popular that many ready-made bathroom vanity chests are now being produced in the style of re-purposed furniture. There's no need, however, to spend extra for vanities created in the style of furniture, when you can transform many furniture pieces into bathroom furniture. A small desk, with a mirror or shelves hung above it, provides a spot for applying makeup. A sturdy side table can be re-purposed to provide a spot near a tub for towels, books, or other items. Tall, slim bookshelves will fit in nearly any bathroom, no matter how small, to provide instant storage room.
