Instructions

    • 1

Use a stud finder to locate studs in the wall where you plan to install the Lozier shelves. Plan the placement of the shelving in such a way that the uprights for the shelving correspond with the spacing of the studs.

    • 2

Snap a base piece onto an upright piece, making sure the locking tab is fully engaged and resting at the back of the slot. Snap a second base piece onto a second upright piece, locking that tab in place.

    • 3

Join the two upright and base pieces by snapping the bottom rail into the upright pieces. Push down firmly to secure the bottom rail in the slots in the upright pieces. Attach a center rail midway up the upright pieces by sliding the tabs of the rail into the slots on the uprights. Slide the base front piece onto the front of the base pieces. It should snap into position.

    • 4

Align a back panel so it can slide down the grooves on either side of the upright pieces. Slide the panel down the channel until it rests on the base pieces. Slide the splicer rail down the groove, and engage it with the back panel.

    • 5

Set the shelving so the base is 3/4 inch away from the wall. Place a carpenter’s level on the base pieces. Level the shelving by turning the leg screws with the leg-leveling wrench included with the shelving. Adjust the front legs so the shelving unit tips back slightly. The top of the shelving unit should touch the wall when you finish this step.

    • 6

Attach anchoring plates to the studs in the wall, using plates and screws in the assembly kit. Slide the upright pieces onto the anchor plates.

    • 7

Slide the top back panel into the upright pieces, and fasten the bottom edge into the top groove of the splicer rail.

    • 8

Slide the shelving end cap over the uprights until it snaps into place. Slip the base end caps into position. Snap the cover rail over the top of the back panel.

    • 9

Tip the bottom shelf so the back is lower than the front. Fasten the rear hooks into the upright tabs as you lower the front of the shelf into position. The front of the bottom shelf should lock onto the base end caps when positioned correctly.

    • 10

Set the upper shelves in place on the uprights at the desired height.
