Measure the depth available for your corner cabinet, using a tape measure. Decide on the height you want the cabinet to come up to from the floor. Note these measurements on a piece of paper.
Cut a sheet of 3/4-inch thick plywood to length and width both equal to the depth measurement, using a circular saw. Cut along the diagonal of this sheet to form two triangular sheets of plywood.
Cut two sheets of 3/4-inch thick plywood to the width equal to the depth measurement and length equal to the height measurement less 1.5 inches. Cut one of the height-length ends of both sheets at a 45 degree angle, using the circular saw. Apply wood glue to these sides. Stick the sheets together to form an “L” shape. Reinforce the joint with three countersunk long screws, using a drill with screwdriver drill bit.
Glue both ends of the “L” shape. Stick one triangular sheet to either end of the “L” shape to form the corner cabinet. Cut one sheet of 3/4-inch thick plywood to height and width both equal to the depth measurement minus 1.5 inches. Cut along the diagonal of this sheet to form two triangular sheets.
Screw one sheet into the cabinet using two L-brackets, one-third of the way up the cabinet, using 1/2 inch long nails. Screw the second sheet into the cabinet using two L-brackets one-third of the way up the cabinet from the first triangular sheet, using 1/2 inch long nails. Measure the width of the front of the cabinet and deduct 3/4 of an inch.
Cut a sheet of 3/4 inch thick plywood to length equal to the height of the cabinet and width equal to the width of the cabinet minus 3/4 inch. Screw two hinges to one of the height-length edges of the sheet. Turn the sheet over and screw a cabinet door handle to the opposite edge of the sheet to the hinges. Screw the hinges to the cabinet with 1/2 inch long screws.
