How to Engrave Cake Servers

  Install the engraving stylus that suits the metal of the cake server on the engraving tool. Plug the engraving tool into a power point and turn on. Practice engraving the message on the piece of scrap metal a few times. Angle the stylus like a pencil and engrave letters till you are satisfied with the result. You can adjust the engraver or apply pressure to get suitable results.

  Clean the cake server using the suitable cleaner. Silver requires a different cleaner and copper cake servers require a different type of cleaner. Wipe completely.

  Turn the engraving tool on again and engrave the message on the server using a steady hand and applying a steady pressure.

  Dust the server with soft cloth after engraving. Leave for a few hours or overnight. Clean the server again.
