How to Run an AeroBed

When unexpected houseguests arrive on your porch or if you just need an extra mattress for an impromptu sleepover, AeroBed air mattresses are convenient and quick to set up. All you need is a standard electrical outlet and a minute or two to inflate the mattress with its attached pump. The AeroBed has a comfort-control wand so you can create a hard or soft mattress for a good night's sleep.

Instructions

    • 1

Take the AeroBed out of its storage bag and spread it in an open area. Make sure the bed is at room temperature before you fill it. Plug the pump cord into a standard electrical outlet. Press the button on the comfort-control wand that reads "Inflation/Firmer." Hold for about 1 minute until the bed is fully inflated.

    • 2

Lie on the bed and determine your comfort level. If you need the bed to be softer, press the "Deflate/Softer" button on the wand for a few seconds. Deflate the bed entirely by pressing "Deflate/Softer" button. Full deflation takes about 1 minute.

Fold the sides of the bed toward the center to make a long, narrow column. Roll the bed tightly, starting from the opposite end from the pump. When you get to the pump end, roll the bed around the pump and put it into the storage bag.
