• The Chignon Plush features coils positioned in single and double rows. The placement of the rows corresponds to the shape of the human body, promoting spinal alignment and back support. The mattress's rated coil gauge is 14 3/4, with a border rod gauge of 9. The mattress is available in the full range of sizes: A twin has 490 coils; a full, 700; a queen, 814; a California king, 1,008; and a standard king, 1,036.

Foam Support

• The mattress is encased in interlocking dovetail foam, which extends the supportive sleeping surface to the edge of the mattress. The foam encasement keeps the mattress edges sturdy and resistant to the "roll-off," or rounding, that can occur over time.

Quilt and Covering

• The mattress quilting is constructed from antimicrobial, antibacterial and nonallergenic fibers, which breathe to allow for softness. Cover materials include an overlaid sheer fabric that keeps the mattress cool while providing a fashionable look. All cotton used in the mattress is organic, environmentally friendly and allergen-free.

Other Features

• The Chignon Plush features a FireBlocker system, which prevents open flame from spreading to other parts of the mattress. This system has been thoroughly tested and has been found to surpass state and federal residential open-flame-resistance standards.
