Pillowtop Disadvantages

• Some pillowtop mattresses are so thick that standard bed sheets will not fit. Instead, they require special pocket sheets, which are specifically designed to handle the extra thickness. Another disadvantage to a pillowtop mattress is that such mattresses cannot be flipped to even out the wear and tear and extend the life of the mattress. Additionally, some manufacturers and retailers consider these types of mattresses to be luxurious. Therefore, they come with a heftier price tag.
