Potential

• The manufacturing process for the TEMPUR material can result in a slight odor to the mattress. The residual odor typically fades away before your mattress is delivered.

Prevention/Solution

• The manufacturer recommends using the mattress as much as possible in the first weeks including reading, television and other leisure time. As the mattress is broken in, the cells will breathe, eliminating the odor.

Time Frame

• Any residual odor in the mattress will dissipate during the break-in process. Breaking in the mattress can take up to a few weeks of regular use.
