According to the company's website, the Simmons Mattress warranty covers manufacturing defects in either the mattress or its supporting foundation. Both pieces must be damaged for both pieces to be replaced; replacement of either the mattress or the foundation does not imply the other piece will be replaced. Warranty coverage only extends to the original buyer and only within the U.S., Puerto Rico or the U.S. Virgin Islands. Simmons will repair or replace defective merchandise but may substitute similar materials and does not guarantee the replaced item will match the original item.
The length of your warranty is indicated in the code on the white label of your Simmons mattress, and extends from your original purchase date. Getting your mattress or foundation repaired or replaced does not restart or extend your warranty.
According to the Simmons mattress website, do not remove the white law tag or model identifier tag from your mattress; you will need them to identify your warranty should you need your mattress or foundation replaced or repaired. You should not fold, bend, jump or stand on your mattress for risk of damage or injury. Cleaning fluids can damage the materials of your mattress and should not be used; you also should not smoke or have open flames on or near your mattress.
Use a solid support foundation for your Simmons mattress. For all sizes above full size, use a foundation that has a rigid center support as well as support for the head, foot and sides of the mattress. If your mattress incurs damage from being unsupported by an appropriate foundation, you will have no warranty rights to get your mattress repaired or replaced. For stain prevention, use a quilted mattress protector pad. Understand that your Simmons mattress is made with a new one-sided design and does not need to be flipped. The mattress is constructed of different material on the top than on the bottom.
