How to Care for a Eurotop Mattress

A Eurotop mattress is a variation of the popular pillowtop mattress, and uses cushioning within the mattress to enhance the plushness of your mattress rather than the sewn-on mattress pad used for pillowtops. The insert is typically firmer than a pillowtop, and lasts longer to improve comfort levels while resting. Although the Eurotop is not a high-maintenance feature of enhanced mattresses it still requires seasonal care to maintain the filling and extend the life and comfort of your mattress.

Instructions

    • 1

Rotate the Eurotop mattress 180 degrees to switch the foot of the bed to the head of the bed. Rotating maintains even weight and minimizes the onset of sags in the mattress.

    • 2

Vacuum the mattress on a weekly basis with the hose attachment of your vacuum cleaner to keep it clean.

    • 3

Spot clean stained areas on the mattress with a damp cleaning cloth and dishwashing liquid soap. A damp cleaning cloth lifts stains from the mattress without causing excessive moisture to seep through the Eurotop surface.

    • 4

Lift the mattress from the bottom of its side with the help of another person when moving the mattress to a new location. Avoid bending it as it damages the mattress's coils and may void your warranty.
