Remove all bedding from the mattress. Remove the pillow top if possible. If your pillow top is sewn onto the mattress, skip to Step 3.
Hang the pillow top over a heavy-duty clothesline. Do this outside to allow airflow to help fluff the pillow top. Replace the top on the mattress after a few hours of it hanging outside.
Use a vacuum hose attachment to gently vacuum the top surface of the pillow top. This will remove dust and help fluff the surface.
Use a broom stick or your hands to beat the mattress top. Hit it hard in various spots to move around the pillow-top filling.
Replace the bedding.
