How to Inflate the Insta-Bed Air Mattress

Insta-Bed mattresses are portable air mattresses that come with a pump system to inflate them automatically. Insta-Bed brand mattresses are also adjustable, with some models allowing you to incline the mattress at different levels. You can inflate the mattress to any level of firmness you desire.

  Plug the pump AC cord of the Insta-Bed air mattress into a wall outlet.

  Lay the deflated air mattress on a flat and firm surface. Make sure debris and sharp objects are removed from the area to prevent mattress damage.

  Connect the air tube to the "air inlet" valve on the bed if it is not already connected. Connect the other end to the "air flow out" valve on the back of the pump control unit if it is not already connected.

  Find the "Sleep Control Dial" on the front of the pump unit. Turn this dial clockwise to the "Inflate" marking on the dial labeling. Allow the air bed to fill with air.

  Press with your hand on the top of the mattress periodically to test the firmness.

  Turn the "Sleep Control Dial" counterclockwise to the "Off" position when the mattress firmness is satisfactory.
