# How Do I Get the Air Out of a Pillowtop Aerobed?
The Pillowtop is an air mattress manufactured by Aerobed. This air mattress can be inflated or deflated depending on when you may need it. When the unit is deflated, it can be stored in small areas, such as closets or even drawers. This mattress is ideal for travelers and those who never know when they may need an extra bed for guests. These mattresses are designed to be inflated and deflated quickly.

Plug the bed's power cord into a power outlet. Locate the pump panel where the power cord connects at the end of the mattress.

Slide the lever on the pump to the "Deflate" position.

Press the button on the control pad and hold it. The air will begin deflating from the mattress.

Hold the button for about 60 seconds or until all air is deflated from the mattress.

Wrap the AC power cord in a circle, fold the mattress once lengthwise and roll the mattress up. From here, you can place it in its storage bag.
