How to Minimize Latex Mattress Odor

Latex mattresses are made from both natural and synthetic materials and resistant to dust mites, mold and bacterial growth. The benefits of latex mattresses are endless, but there is one downside. When your new latex mattress arrives you may notice a “new mattress” smell. The smell is found exclusively in natural latex mattresses, which are manufactured from rubber, and occurs when the mattress is cured during manufacturing. It is possible to dissipate the new mattress smell from latex quickly without harming the product.
