  Sand the surface of your laminated armoire. Remove sanding dust with a clean rag.

  Prime your laminated armoire. Priming will ensure that paint will stick to the lamination.

  Paint your armoire. Start with the inside of the armoire. Paint from the top of the armoire to the bottom of the armoire.

  Check your work for paint drips. Paint over the paint drips to smooth the paint and remove the drip.

  Use smooth paint strokes to add a professional look to your painted armoire. Allow drying time between coats of paint.
