General Cleaning

• The most common cleaning need for Barcalounger leather is dusting. Even the most careful homeowner cannot prevent dust from settling on these inanimate objects. To remove dust, use the soft bristle attachment on your vacuum cleaner. Use only this attachment, because harsher suction power or sharp edges will scratch the leather.

  Alternatively, you can also use dry dusters such as feather dusters or Swiffer pads. If these aren't available, dampen a clean, soft cloth with warm water and gently rub it across the surface. Dust will stick to the damp cloth.

Mix one part white vinegar and two parts linseed oil to create a cleaner and conditioner. You can also simply mix warm water with a mild dish detergent such as Dawn or Ivory.
