How to Blend Corn With Wood Pellets

Add corn to your wood pellets to make your pellet stove heat more efficiently and stretch your supply of pellets. Corn creates warmer heat than wood pellets and you can purchase bulk bags of dried corn inexpensively from a local farm and feed supplier. Corn should not be burned alone, or you'll leave hardened deposits in your stove. Always consult your pellet stove's user manual to ensure that your stove is corn compatible.
