Indoor Chaise Lounge

• The indoor chaise lounge is quickly becoming a familiar sight in the homes of many people. This piece of furniture can be similar to both a sofa and a chair depending upon the size and style you choose for your home. Traditional styles may be longer and offer more sitting room. These chaise lounges usually have a back on one end and either one or two shorter side arms.

  Modern style chaise lounges can be a variety of different shapes and sizes. Some may only have a back with no side arms and some may closely resemble a recliner that is fully reclined. Outdoor Chaise Lounge

• The outdoor chaise lounge is a popular piece of furniture for lounging around pools, picnic areas or patios. These are available in an endless array of styles, shapes and sizes. They may be made completely of wood, plastic, wicker, metal or even a combination of several different materials. Since they are used outdoors, they are built to be sturdy and withstand a variety of weather conditions. Some outdoor chaise lounges are made out of the same materials that standard folding lawn chairs are so that they can be easily folded and taken along on outings. Outdoor chaise lounges are also available in various levels of reclining including, non-reclining, multi-reclining and fully reclining.

Commercial Chaise Lounge

• The commercial chaise lounge can also be either an indoor or an outdoor chaise lounge. These lounges are usually found in many different public places including doctor's offices, hospitals, hotels, public pools or public parks. Commercial indoor lounges can be of a more sophisticated style with leather covers that can be easily cleaned should spills occur. Outdoor commercial lounges can be made of high-quality wood or metal material and sometimes are lined with comfortable cushion seating. While these lounges are normally purchased in bulk by businesses, they can also be purchased individually by home owners.
