Instructions

    • 1

Apply a small amount of olive oil to a cotton towel, and gently rub it onto the scuffed leather in a circular motion for several minutes.

    • 2

Apply water to the towel to make it damp. Wring out the water, and gently rub the scuffed area with the damp towel for several minutes.

    • 3

Lay the damp towel over the scuffed area and apply a heated iron to the towel. Slowly move the iron around for several seconds at a time while removing it for several seconds at a time as well. The heat from this action brings the natural leather oils to the surface and may help repair the scuff marks.

Apply color-appropriate shoe polish to the scuffed area with a cotton swab in a circular motion. While the polish is still wet, rub it clean and buff it with a dry cotton towel. Repeat this step if it seems to have little affect. When complete, visually inspect the leather to ensure it has been sufficiently repaired.
