How to Hide Scratches in Leather

      Remove dust from the leather by using a damp cloth. Allow it to dry thoroughly. Choose a shoe polish that matches the color of the leather. Apply a pea-sized amount of the shoe polish to the scratch mark. Gently rub the polish onto the scratch mark using a piece of cloth. Let the polish dry for at least 10 to 15 minutes, then buff with a clean, dry cloth.

      Olive oil is a another effective remedy for hiding scratches in leather. Put 3 to 4 drops of olive oil on a dry cloth. Use the cloth to apply the olive oil to the scratches, rubbing it firmly in a circular motion until the scratches disappear.

      Hide scratches in leather by using Pledge orange oil. Hold the spray bottle 2 to 3 inches from the leather and spray it on the scratches. Rub it on the scratches in a circular motion until the scratches disappear.
